  1. IntroductionDecklify ("we," "our," or "us") welcomes you to our platform, available at https://www.decklify.app. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms govern your use of Decklify’s AI-powered presentation creation services. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
  2. Overview of ServicesDecklify provides an AI-powered platform designed to help users create professional and engaging presentations quickly and efficiently. Our service utilizes advanced artificial intelligence to generate customized slide decks based on user input. We offer two service tiers to accommodate different user needs:
    • Free Tier: Includes basic features for AI-generated presentations at no cost.
    • Paid Tier: Offers advanced tools and features for enhanced presentation creation, available through a subscription.
  3. User AccountsTo access and use Decklify’s services, you must create an account. By creating an account, you agree to the following:
    • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information during the account registration process. Failure to do so may result in the suspension or termination of your account.
    • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach.
    • Eligibility: You confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction.
    • Prohibited Activities: You agree not to use your account for unlawful purposes or activities that violate these Terms.

  4. Subscription Plans and PaymentsDecklify offers two subscription plans to meet your needs:

    • Free Tier:
      • The Free Tier is available at no cost and includes access to basic AI-generated presentation features.
      • This tier may have limitations on the number of presentations, customization options, or advanced tools.

    • Paid Tier:

      • The Paid Tier provides access to premium features, including advanced customization options, higher usage limits, and priority support.
      • This tier requires a subscription with recurring payments. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider.

      Payment Terms:

    • Payments for the Paid Tier are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.

    • By subscribing to the Paid Tier, you authorize Decklify to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription.

    • If payment cannot be processed (e.g., due to insufficient funds or expired payment details), your access to Paid Tier features may be suspended until the issue is resolved.

      Cancellation:

    • You may cancel your Paid Tier subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Paid Tier features until the end of the current billing cycle. Afterward, your account will automatically revert to the Free Tier.

  5. Data Collection and PrivacyDecklify is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about the data we collect. By using our services, you agree to our collection and use of the following data:

    • Public Google Account Information: If you log in using your Google account, we collect publicly available information, such as your name and profile picture.
    • Email Address: We collect your email address as part of the account creation process and for communication purposes.

    • Payment Information: We store your payment details through Stripe’s platform (https://stripe.com/), in accordance with Stripe’s security practices. Payment details are stored securely and are only used for processing payments related to your subscription. WE DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO OR STORE ANY VULNERABLE INFORMATION SUCH AS PIN CODES OR FULL CARD NUMBERS.

      Purpose of Data Collection:

    • To communicate with you regarding updates, features, and support.

    • To ensure that essential features, such as displaying content created by the user, function properly.

      We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. For more details on how we handle your information, please review our Privacy Policy.

  6. Cookies and GDPR ComplianceDecklify uses cookies to enhance your experience and ensure the proper functioning of our website. We collect essential cookies to:

    • Support website functionality.

    • Measure site traffic, including the number of visitors.

      Decklify does not use cookies for marketing or non-essential tracking purposes. We are committed to compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  7. Intellectual Property

    • Decklify owns all rights to the platform’s code, software, and proprietary technologies. You may not copy, modify, or attempt to reverse-engineer our platform.
    • Decklify is not responsible for any consequences or liabilities arising from your use, distribution, presentation, or display of any content generated using our services.

  8. Limitation of Liability

    • Disclaimer of Warranties:

      The services provided by Decklify are offered “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Decklify does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of its services.

    • Limitation of Liability:

      To the maximum extent permitted by law, Decklify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, even if Decklify has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Decklify’s liability to you for any claims arising from the use of its services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Paid Tier during the 12 months prior to the claim.

  9. Termination

    • Terms for Account Termination:

      Decklify reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we believe may harm Decklify or its users.

    • User Rights:

      You may terminate your account by contacting us directly. Upon termination, all your access to Paid Tier features will cease if you are currently subscribed.

    • Provider Rights:

      Decklify reserves the right to terminate or modify its services at any time, for any reason, and without liability to users. If Decklify discontinues the Paid Tier or any significant part of the service, we will notify users in advance and offer a suitable alternative, if possible.

  10. Updates to TermsDecklify reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

  11. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

    Any legal action or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Stockholm, Sweden.
